APTA provides the following services:
APTA Membership
Institutional Membership is open to all Asia Pacific
Assemblies of God schools involved in formal theological training.Individual Membership is open to all Asia Pacific
Assemblies of God school administrators and faculty members.Associate Membership is open to all Assemblies of God
individual and entities interested in enhancing bible school education in the
Asia Pacific region.

Accreditation Services
The Association defines accreditation to mean that an
institution has completed a self-study based on APTA standard and has been
determined to be guided by well-defined and appropriate goals. Accreditation
signifies that a school has established conditions and procedures under which
its goals can be realized and substantially accomplished as expected to do so.
Basic Requirements for APTA Accreditation
1. Membership in APTA
2.
Five years in operation or two graduating classes.
3.
Appropriate authority to operate as a school
4.
Structured curriculum
5.
Governing body with legal responsibility for the school

Teacher Certification Services
The Teacher Certification is a service to members who choose
to voluntarily participate. Certification is defined by the Association to mean
that an individual has been recognized to have fulfilled an objective list of
criteria which qualifies the individual for a specific level of recognition.
APTA Teacher Certification can provide:
1. Formal recognition of an individual teacher's training and experience;
2.
Incentive for teachers to continue developing their professional skills;
3.
Guidelines for faculty selection, evaluation, and retention;
4.
Assistance as a school progresses toward accreditation.
5.
Common standards for teachers at specific levels of professional
development.
In order to be certified, an individual must:

Be member of APTA in good standing; |
| 2. |
Agree with the Statement of Fundamental Truths stated in Article III of
the APTA Constitution; |
| 3. |
Demonstrate exemplary Christian character; |
| 4. |
Give evidence of being in good standing with his denomination or local
church, if the applicant is not a credentialed minister. |
| 5. |
Have completed at least 96 credit units of post secondary education or its
equivalent. |

Theological Commission
The Theological Commission was organized as a service of APTA to
encourage theological scholarship among Pentecostals in the region and to assist
in sustaining and enhancing the growth of the Pentecostal movement.
Objectives

To identify and monitor theological developments and trends. |
| 2. |
To provide resources for APTA member schools by issuing occasional papers
and articles on significant issues. |
| 3. |
To conduct theological symposia. |
| 4. |
To encourage emerging scholarships among Pentecostal believers in the
region. |
Activities
1. Sponsors forums for theological discussion.
2.
Publishes scholarly monograph series and bulletin.
Honor Society
The Thetha Epsilon Honor Society was established to
encourage and honor manifest Christian character, develop Christian leadership
and academic excellence among the graduates of member schools of the APTA. There
are two classes of membership - scholastic and honorary.

Have achieved a cumulative grade point average of not less than 3.3 in the
4-point system of its equivalent. |
Honorary membership is meant for graduates who have
exhibited Christian character, leadership ability and outstanding intellectual
achievement may be nominated by the faculty provided that at least ten years
have elapsed since graduation. |
